At IFAK Kimihurura, 31 January 2020: As we celebrate the Feast of Saint John Bosco, today the Headmaster of IFAK Rev. Father Jean Bosco NTIRENGANYA, sdb,, has reminded youth to uphold the values of Don Bosco and behave like him in whatever they are doing. Father Ntirenganya was speaking at Eucharistic mass celebrated in the Honor of Saint John Bosco, the Friend of young people. The mass was attended by Students from the Salesian schools of IFAK, EMAK and EPAK as well as their teachers. Father Ntirenganya said “Today we are very thankful to God for giving us Don Bosco as a gift to young people. We, the Salesians, always walk in the steps of Don Bosco, we love young people as our Master did and we are committed to keep this spirit. We always pray for you, young people and we do this because we love you.”
Father Ntirenganya later asked young people to always fight for Excellence in whatever they do. He asked them to develop and maintain the reading culture, study hard, work hard, pray much and stay focused to achieve their goals.
The Feast of Don Bosco is celebrated every year on 31 January, a date that marks the death of this Great Master of Youth.
