We, Salesians of Don Bosco (SDB), form a community of the baptized who, docile to the voice of the Spirit, intend to carry out the plan of their Founder in a specific form of religious life: to be in the Church signs and bearers of God’s love for young people, especially the poorest. We live in a fraternal community, we practice the “evangelical counsels”, chastity, poverty and obedience, we dedicate ourselves to the mission to the young. These are the elements that characterize our life of charity towards God and the brothers. The mission gives our whole existence its concrete tone, in it we find the way to our sanctification.
