By Cyprien NIYOMWUNGERI

On the 8th January 2024, the students of IFAK Don Bosco Kimihurura started the second term with a spirit of determination and dreams, ready to conquer new challenges and achieve their goals.

Reverend Father NTIRENGANYA Jean Bosco, the Headmaster of IFAK, addressed the students, emphasizing the crucial role this term plays in determining their overall academic outcomes for the year. He urged them to approach their studies with diligence from the very start.

“Don’t wait for the third term to wake up and study; consider this term as the pivotal one that will decide whether you progress or face repetition,” advised Reverend Father NTIRENGANYA.

Wishing the students a fantastic term and a Happy New Year, he encouraged them to pursue their dreams passionately.

“Having dreams and ambitions is crucial; they drive you towards becoming a valuable citizen. We are here to support you, and we ask for your collaboration in achieving success,” he added.

IFAK Kimihurura introduced new teachers including Kubwayo Fidele, who will teach Chemistry in A’Level, and Tuyishime Jean Paul, the Kinyarwanda teacher.

The school recognized the best performer of the first term, Mpano Elvis from Senior Two who achieved an outstanding score above 95 percent. As a reward, he was granted school fees for the current term.

Beyond academics, this term holds special significance for IFAK students as they prepare to celebrate the feast of Don Bosco, the founder of the Salesians Community. Additionally, they eagerly anticipate the visit of Cardinal Ángel Fernández Artime, the Rector Major of the Salesians.
